On Sunday 12th February members of the church agreed to go forward with an ambitious plan to update the building’s facilities. The idea is to make the building accessible to disabled people and to increase the flexibility of the premises for the many organisations that already use it. The changes should also allow passers by to see into the interior of the church and make it more welcoming.
The estimated cost of these changes is around £100,000. Obviously, this is money the church doesn’t have to hand and therefore there will be a number of fund raising events in the future.
The church would like to thank Lakeside Coaches for funding the Options Appraisal and Anne Netherwood for undertaking it.
